Thai Moogambigai Polytechnic College started in the year 1985 by the illustrious educationist Dr. A.C. SHANMUGAM B.A.,B.L., FRCPS, Ex. M.P., M.L.A., is the pioneer institution of the ACS group of colleges. The main objective in starting the college is to foster the poor students of northern Tamilnadu, to equip them with the best technical knowledge and get them a good job. The college is situated in the heart of Chennai, very close to CMBT in a calm and serene area to make the students study in a peaceful environment. The proximity to one of the largest industrial estates, namely Ambathur Industrial Estate, provides ample opportunity for the students to get technical training, internship, industry sponsored live projects and lucrative jobs. Under the dynamic leadership of the present Chairman Er.A.C.S. ARUNKUMAR B.Tech.,M.B.A., the college has grown leaps and bounds to a higher level.
