


The Computer Centre of Thai Moogambigai Polytechnic College plays a significant contribution in learning and applications of new ideas and technologies. The center provides modern computing infrastructure and digital learning resources for the benefit of students and staff.
The centre is equipped with state-of-the-art computer systems, high-speed internet connectivity, and necessary software tools. It enables students to get hands-on experience in computer applications connected with the curriculum subjects.
It helps the students learning innovative ideas for paper presentation in Seminars, workshops etc. Staff members have ample time and opportunity to learn new things in digital form which can be shared and discussed easily.
The Library of Thai Moogambigai Polytechnic College was established in 1986. It is an essential component of the institution’s academic mission, providing comprehensive information services and access to print and electronic resources.
The library offers excellent facilities and serves as a space for quiet reading, group learning, and recreational reading. It is integrated with modern learning resources including Books, Print and e-journals, CD-ROMs, Online databases, and Audio-visual materials.
The department of Physical Education of Thai Moogambigai Polytechnic College oversees all sports and games activities. The college is proud to offer a comprehensive athletic program and a vibrant sports culture for all the students. The department promotes an active and healthy life style through a wide range of sporting opportunities. As per the directions of the Directorate of Technical Education Students have to earn credits to qualify for the diploma by actively taking part in the health and wellness course. Lot of facilities are provided for the students to play the sports and games. The students can participate in Athletics, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Cricket, Handball, Throw-ball, Kabadi, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom and various strength and power sports. The students are given training in our sister concern in Dr. M.G.R. University sports grounds situated adjacent to our college. In addition to competitive sports, facilities for Yoga and Meditation are also provided to support holistic well-being of the students and staff members.
Students are encouraged to participate in tournaments throughout the year, in Divisional and State level championships, Tamilnadu Inter Polytechnic and inter College Tournaments, as well as Intra college and invitational tournaments. Our students have won many prizes in these tournaments continuously in all the years. Our students get special facilities to improve their sporting skills by competing with Our University students. Tournaments are conducted among our sister colleges throughout the year and our students have excelled in many tournaments.

The National Service Scheme (NSS) at TMPC functions with two active units, each comprising 100 student volunteers. The NSS motto, “Not Me, But You,” reflects the spirit of selfless service and emphasizes placing community welfare above personal interest.
The NSS units organize a ten-day Special Camp annually in adopted villages, focusing on rural development, cleanliness, health awareness, and environmental sustainability. Regular Blood Donation Camps are organized in collaboration with Sri Lalithambigai Medical College.
Activities include: General Health Check-up Camps, Eye Screening Camps, Anti-Drug Awareness Rallies, and Road Safety Programmes. NSS plays a vital role in shaping socially conscious students.
