Civil Engineering is the oldest branch of Engineering. The department started in the year 1985 and is having fully equipped laboratories. The department teaches advance practices in surveying, drafting, estimation, construction and site management. The civil engineer evolves new methods in design, construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, buildings etc. It allows one’s creative skill with latest techniques in building structures, urban development, water resources and transportation. The students actively participate in inter college conferences and in paper presentations. The students regularly attend 10 day camp in the nearby area to improve their field technical skills. Over its long existence the department has produced number of engineers and technocrats of high caliber.
