Eligibility
Admission to the first semester of the Diploma program:
Should have passed the SSLC Examinations prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu or any examination of any other board or authority recognized by the Board of Secondary Education as equivalent thereto with eligibility for Higher Secondary Education in Tamil Nadu.
Lateral Entry Admission (2ND year):
The candidates who possess a pass is the HSC [Academic] or equivalent prescribed in the Higher Secondary Schools in Tamil Nadu affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board,
(or)
The candidates who possess a pass in 2 year ITI with appropriate grade or equivalent examination.
Age limit:
There is no age limit prescribed for admissions to Diploma programs
Medium of Instruction
The medium of instruction is English for all courses, examinations, seminar presentations and project work reports, except for the programs offered in Tamil Medium
Admission Procedure
Candidates seeking admission to the THAI MOOGAMBIGAI POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE should get application form from the college admission office by paying the prescribed fee in any digital form
Completed application form should reach the Principal Thai Moogambigai Polytechnic College within 15 days from the date of publication of SSLC Examination results.
Allocation of seats in various courses will be based on merits and communal quota.
